6/25/91 This ZIP file contains two files for you to use with COMMAND HQ by MICROPROSE. CHQ.EXE is a replacement for the CHQ.EXE you got when you bought COMMAND HQ. This is a modified version, put out by MICROPROSE that adds more intelligent movements by the computer opponents. It also fixes some bugs with regards to modem handling. This file was downloaded from COMPUSERVE, and it supposedly came from MICROPROSE's BBS before that. (NOTE: This is not a pirate copy of COMMAND HQ. It cannot be used without the other files supplied on the original COMMAND HQ disk. It also has all the original copy-protection schemes included.) This file is marked VERSION 1.97. I ran McAfee's SCAN (7.2v77) on CHQ.EXE and it said it was clean. I ran McAfee's VALIDATE (0.3) on it, and I came up with the following data: SIZE: 124,544 Check Method 1: 5E51 Check Method 2: 0ADB CHQ.TXT is a reprint of an article written by DAN BUNTEN, one of the programmers for COMMAND HQ, as it appeared in COMPUTER GAMING WORLD Magazine, February, 1991. It gives alot of information about the game that does not appear in the manual. PLEASE DISTRIBUTE THIS ZIP FILE TO ALL THE BBSs YOU ACCESS. Thanks.
